ABOUT MARTIN HUNTER PROFESSIONAL LIFE |

Martin Hunter is a consultant in software solution architecture working in Wellington, New Zealand. Martin started in the Information Technology industry in 1998 as a programmer, working then in the United Kingdom. As a programmer, Martin quickly gained experience using a broad range of development technologies including Visual Basic, COM, COM+, Java, C++ and later the Microsoft .NET Framework. In 2002-3, Martin moved his focus in work into the design of Object Oriented software, and became interested in the use and development of Object Oriented design patterns as a means to improve the reuse and robustness of software. Martin's intertest in the theoretical aspects of Object Orientated development and patterns continued with his use of Object Oriented technologies in his work. Martin was first introduced to XML in 1999, and has since been keenly interested in the use and misuse of XML in software solutions developments. Martin's key areas of interest are in Object Oriented development, patterns in systems integration, model driven development and patterns in business analysis. |
