Martin reckon's that the great outdoors is probably the closest he'll ever come to a religious experience. That feeling of being part of something much bigger; the feeling of insignificance. Of course, we are part of something much bigger (i.e. the natural world); but being outdoors lends the feeling that one is: An emotional connection.
